Our math teacher gave us a assignment to figure out when the twenty-five billion app contest would end.  The address above will take you to the web site.

First, you have to find the average per minute which is 34,189. Then you have to find how many downloads you are away from twenty-five billion. After you find the average you divide that by sixty since there is sixty seconds in a minute which is 341,492,345. Then you  divide by twenty-four because there is twenty-four hours. Then you see how many downloads and divide it by the average for a day. Then you take twenty-five billion then you divide that by twenty-four and get about seven.So it would end  March second at six-thirty. 

This year I love  math class because we have no homework. We work on the computers and we don’t have to work all on paper. Plus we work together in class, also we  use white boards and that’s easier. In this years math class I can understand what I’m doing. Mr. Oldfield is awesome hes duh best teacher I’ve ever had!

I am going to teach you how to estimate the square root of 19. First, you have to find the two  perfect square roots, for 19 the two perfect square roots are 16  which would be 4 and 25 would be 5. Second, you have to see how much that is which 16 and 25 equals to 4.5. Third, you have you have to add 4.5 to 16 so you can eliminate possibilities. 16+4.5=20.5 and 19 is a little less than 20.5. So, you can eliminate 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8, and 4.9.I would say the square root of 19 is 4.4.
